Development Update #2 - 03/08/2019
Happy Friday! This is the second bi-weekly development update for everything happening at Upright Labs. Here's our second development update:
🎉 USPS Scan forms
Order manager now has support for scan forms! If you're processing and shipping out in bulk then you'll want to create a scan form for your USPS pickups.
You can print a scan form by navigating to the orders page and clicking "Create USPS Scan Form". Note: this will automatically create a scan form from your shipments for the current day, you'll want to do this after your done shipping for the current day.
🎉 Mark orders as picked up
You can now mark orders as picked up from the order manager within Lister. This will update the channel the item(s) sold on, so you don't need to leave Lister!
🎉 Shopgoodwill listing manager redesign
We've made some changes to the Shopgoodwill listing manager that makes it more clear and closely resembles Shopgoodwill. Our hope is that the new design changes make it clear what listings are relistable, waiting for payment, and whats sold.
🎉 Print product SKU's
You can now print labels from Lister with just the SKU. This is great if for a total integration from store to sale. A store can create a manifest item, send it to ecom where a label can be printed out and scanned into Lister for tracking.
To enable this feature, head to your admin settings and set your "label print type" to "SKU".
Bug fixes & Improvements
Along with these big feature announcements, we've worked on a number of bug fixes and improvements:
- Ability to modify sold/unpaid items on Shopgoodwill
- Filter and sort by Starting bid/username listing manager
- Handling total to order reports
- Partial SKU lookups for manifests
- Refunds to the order manager
- Print all manifest items by status
- Listing manager relist counts
- Unpaid listing state
- Issue where you could not modify SGW items with bids
- Calendar picker issues
- Description formatting on SGW
- Allow categories to be cleared on the packing slip printer
The next big feature we are working on for Lister is our OfferUp shipping integration. This will allow you to post shipping only items via Lister to sell on the OfferUp marketplace. The Upright Labs team has been working very closely with OfferUp for the past few months and will be ready by end of March for full integration.
Store Admin Reports
Next week, we'll be adding support for Store reports. This will allow your store admins to view all their items that they've sent in, where those items have been listed to, and how much revenue their store has made.
One of issues we see is a lack of communication between stores and ecomm, and we think with the addition of this new report, stores will be better kept in the loop on their online performance.
